Howdy friends! Remember me? That crazed, Do-It-Yourselfer who is obsessed with projects and craftiness? Well, I have taken a quiet hiatus from blogging and my sincerest apologies. Believe me when I say I’ve wanted to post, I have just felt that I have had absolutely nothing interesting to say. Life has been…a roller coaster of emotions lately and blogging has seem to have fallen off. With that in mind, I have been writing draft after draft, deciding what I have wanted to write about next and where I wanted to take my blog. After quite a bit of thought and consideration, I have renamed my blog from Sailboats and Suntans to: A Darling Adventure (although for the time being, my URL remains the same..but stay tuned for that change).
After some quiet reflection and a few amazing words of advice from some of my most precious of friends, I have finally come out of my funk and have decided to revamp my blog to a lifestyle blog, including of course, designs. Because honestly, what is life if not one big design? I mean seriously…
The past three months have been a whirlwind and one in which I felt like a victim. A lot of sadness and let-down has happened, but honestly all of that has sparked me to be more appreciative of the things that are bright and wonderful in life…including the smallest of things. I have chosen to change my life to become one of substance and of grace and of gratitude. I have missed you all dearly and I am really grateful y’all have chosen to stick around regardless if I’ve been a regular blogger or not. But I promise to try to post more and to really include y’all in my life.
I have been slowly understanding how to live a life of gratitude and to really, deeply be satisfied with your current life. 2015 got off to a rocky start, but I am happy to say it’s on an upturn!
